The Cooperative Movement has always played a vital role in strengthening the socio-economic fabric of our country. The foundation of this movement lies in awareness, education, and capacity building of its members. Since its establishment in 1960, HIMCOFED has been committed to promoting cooperative principles and imparting education and training across the state of Himachal Pradesh.

The Cooperative Education & Training Programme is not merely an activity but a cornerstone for ensuring transparency, efficiency, and sustainability in cooperative institutions. Through structured training, awareness campaigns, and educational initiatives, we aim to empower members, office bearers, and employees of cooperative societies to effectively contribute to their growth and success.

HIMCOFED, being an educational federation supported by the State Government through Grant-in-Aid, continues to work with dedication to strengthen the cooperative sector. Our focus remains on adapting modern training methodologies while preserving the core values of cooperation, mutual help, and democratic functioning.

I firmly believe that with continuous learning and collective efforts, the cooperative movement in Himachal Pradesh will achieve new heights and contribute significantly to the overall development of the state.
